THE PEOPLE’S HOUSE: UP LATE
Over 3 months as the sun sets, BPM has curated a series of late-night activations at the Museum of Sydney in association with the exhibition The People’s House: Sydney Opera House at 50. The dynamic event series will showcase the incredible contribution the Sydney Opera House has made to our cultural landscape and the special place it holds in the hearts of Australians.
Aug 10th - celebrating the classical history of the Opera House we have harpist Paul Nicolau, Jack Ward String Quartet, guitarist Joseph Littlefield and soprano Sandra Liu
Sept 14th - performances by Nick Wales, Bandaluzia Flamenco, Japanese taiko drumming by YuNiOn, and the musical genius of Ngiyampaa, Yuin and Gumbangirr violinist, vocalist and dancer Eric Avery.
Oct 12th - celebrating the future icons of the Sydney Opera House with performances by Mi-Kaisha, Ella Haber, Selasie, Jerome Blazé, MUNGMUNG and Astro High.
FRINGE IGNITE 2023
Curated by BPM and headlined by The Rogue Traders, Fringe Ignite is glowing up for its 10 year anniversary. Also featuring The Great West, False London, MUNGMUNG, PEPTALK and DJ Victoria Anthony.
